
Edible Candy Cane Ornie
I make these each year for boutiques with the story of the candy cane attached on the label.
Supplies:
Heart or Star Cookie Molds ,Jello Molds ( star ones used are from the 40s and for jello )
Starlight Mints, unwrapped
Non Stick Spray- non aeresol
Sugar glue: confectioner's sugar -100% cane sugar and water to make a paste.
Heat oven to 200 degrees
Spray molds
Place candies in mold, stars I use 6.

Place in oven and watch, about 5-8 min.
Note: You want the candies to melt and join together not to foam and cook.

Remove from oven, cool. Once cool remove from mold.

Add ribbon with sugar glue.
